The Weekly Pull Request....At Night.
Welcome to this week’s Evening Edition of the Weekly Pull Request, a place where I share cool music, tech, and things I’ve been working on throughout the week. It’s been a week y’all. Let’s get into it.

Medieval Tavern - Valkyrion
In the spirit of self-care and better mental health habits, I started playing Magic: the Gathering again this week. I’ll admit, I’ve been working too much these past few months and kind of lost touch with the things that bring me joy in my life. Magic is one of them, and this playlist definitely adds to the experience of slinging spells with my friends.
Personally, it brings me back to the Emerald Tavern, a tabletop game themed bar in Austin, Texas. I wish we had a place like this near my house.
Anyways, if you want to make your Commander games more immersive, throw this EP on and allow the bard who goes by Valkyrion to provide musical narration to your mead-fueled, spell slinging battles with friends.
Quit! - Hardy & Mockingbird & the Crow - Hardy
We’re doing a double feature here. Anyone that knows me knows that I have enjoyed watching Hardy blow up over the last few years. If you didn’t know, Hardy is a Nashville songwriter that got his break with Morgan Wallen on the track “Up Down”. Since then, he has written for countless other artists, eventually branching out to do his own thing as an artist.
Hardy brings a different vibe to Nashville. With deep roots in 90’s rock and metal, Hardy bridges the gap between country and hard rock with these two albums.
Now sure, this is an artist that doesn’t need some guy on his laptop writing about his critically acclaimed records. Well, there’s a reason I’m sharing these albums. Keep reading to find out why.

Coming Soon.
It’s been awhile since I’ve released some music.
I mentioned above there was a reason that I was sharing the Hardy albums in this week’s newsletter. I am stoked announce that I am releasing a “reloaded” version of his song, “Jim Bob” on my birthday, 12/5. This is one of my favorite songs off of ‘Quit!’, and I’m aiming to do it justice, while putting a heavier twist on the track. I hope y’all like it.
That’s all for this week’s pull request. Let’s go ahead and merge this to main. I hope you have an amazing weekend!
Build Fast. Break Stuff. Have Fun.
