Knocked Loose on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

From Oldham County, Kentucky, to Coachella — and now to national television. I think it’s safe to say that Knocked Loose has reached rockstar status. Pretty wild to see a band this heavy join the ranks of Slipknot, Slayer, Lamb of God, and others that have played at this level, played this stage, with this historical performance.

Very much deserved though. Knocked Loose works their asses off and this success is earned & very much deserved. Huge kudos to the hardcore band that I saw play the Local 662 in St Pete over 7 years ago. Knocked Loose is doing amazing things, not only for heavy music, but for every local hardcore band that has or had a dream of sharing their art with the world. Pay attention to these guys, because I see a changing of the guard happening in the world of Metal.

Have a Nice Day - Treaty Oak Revival

Treaty Oak Revival has quickly become one of my favorite bands. The Texas rockers live somewhere between hard rock and country music, which is exactly where I like to be. ‘Have a Nice Day’ packs some punchy riffs, amazing guitar tones, and some really good songwriting with a little bit of punk influence sprinkled throughout.

I throw this record on when on a drive, or when I’m editing content. It makes me dream about driving a truck down an open road out west or through the mountains in Georgia. I guess you could say it takes me to my happy place.

As Lainey Wilson said, Country’s cool again, and these guys are very much contributing to that sentiment. Give this record a spin.

Self-Titled - Whitey Morgan and the 78’s

As you can tell, I’ve been diving back into my catalog of good country music this week, and Whitey Morgan and the 78’s is a favorite of mine. A fellow native Michigander, Morgan brings you back to that smoky honky-tonk, cold beer, and a good time Friday nights.

So the next time your cracking a cold one, throw this record on, kick back, and allow Whitey Morgan and the 78’s be the soundtrack to your weekend chilling.

Tech

I recently scooped this keyboard as an early birthday present to myself and I’m so glad that I did. My old keyboard was a cheap mechanical off of amazon. It was aesthetically nice, but when it came to function, it was pretty annoying. Disconnection and sticky keys are very annoying, especially when programming.

In my search, I was looking for something akin to the Macbook keyboard, and this keyboard checks all of the boxes. The key travel is perfect for my stubby fingers, the backlighting is extremely bright for those night time coding sessions, and I love the ability to program custom functions to the row of function keys via the Logi Options app.

You’d swear this was a sponsored ad. No, it’s not. I just really like this keyboard y’all. Definitely recommend this for the computer geeks in your life.

New Music on 12/5!

I thought this artwork came out pretty cool.

ICYMI: My cover of “Jim Bob” by Hardy comes out on my birthday, 12/5.

I’m super stoked to release this song. I’m a huge fan of Hardy and hope you enjoy it!

That’s all for this week’s pull request. Let’s go ahead and merge this to main. I hope you have an amazing weekend!

Rock on.
