Some Awesome Jams for Your Friday.
I love music.
No, seriously. It’s an obsession. I truly love music.
I’m guessing since you’re here, you probably do too! So here’s what I’ve been listening to this week:
Set//Adrift
I posted about these guys last week. This is my friend Josh’s band, Set//Adrift, and they rip. This EP from the Texas-based group is the perfect mix of heavy jams and emotional vibes. If you want to get in your feels, but also want to put your fist through someone’s head, this is your soundtrack.
(Though I don’t advise violence. Choose kindness, folks.)
Big ups to Josh, Taylor and the gang on a fantastic release, with a special shoutout to Dave Alcan for working his Production magic on this EP.
Bodysnatcher
This EP was just released and let me say that this is HEAVY! Chris Whited and Will Putney did incredible on the production of this record. The songs are full of nasty riffs, slow breakdowns — really everything we’ve come to love and expect from a band like Bodysnatcher. If heavy hardcore is your thing, then definitely give this one a spin.
I need a sip of coffee. Here’s a quick word from our sponsor: Me.
Just like entrepreneurs need a strong online presence to thrive in the digital world, creatives need a standout website to amplify their reach and connect with fans. I help businesses and creatives grow their outreach with custom websites & integrations.

Ok. Back to the scheduled programming.
Illuminate Me
This is another band from the great state of Florida that just cheffed up 5 new bangers for your sonic enjoyment. Aggressive vocals combined with some nostalgic metalcore breakdowns make this a great listen. We even get a ‘Blegh!’ on the opening track! Big shoutout Kyle and the gang, as well as my dear friend Marco Santos for the stellar production on this record.
Coding Playlist
For those that want something on the lighter side of things, I found another Drum and Bass mix that I really enjoy. I’m obsessed with this genre and it is my go to while coding.
